Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was far away from home in Harper city where my daughter is undergoing medical treatment when I received message from my son back in the village that my tranfer has arrived. I was happy even though my daughter was not well. I begin to praise God because I was in need of money to facility my daughter's treament and to start my farm project. This was a mericle to me when I received the money. I must admit, I still can not understand how it happened. It fet to be God.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
As a farm with big plan of planting a large cocoa farm, I was constrain due to the lack of sufficient finance to hire people to do the work. I and my son were laboring so hard to get the farm going. We could strain ourselves without any chemical to fertilize or get rid of insects. Currently that story has changed. My farm is going on well. Even my child treatment is also going well and life once more has smile with me and my family.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I am anticipating on investing the money in my cocoa farm. As a farmer, I want to continue farming on a larger scale. I also used some of the money to cater to daughter sickness.
