Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i received the transfer i was very excited, we celebrated with my family knowing that change has come. I was more excited because i knew i will have enough food at home and i will be able to build a new house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I stay in a small grass thatched house, i have a lot of challenges when it is raining because of leaking. I have been dreaming to build a new house for a long time but i did not have any source of income . when i receive my money i bought a lot of materials for building my house including iron sheets which i could not afford in the past and am planning to build my new house once i get my second transfer. i have also bought enough food for my family and we are eating a balanced diet everyday as compared to the past when we could not afford a balanced diet.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The transfer i received from Give directly i used it in the following ways, firstly i bought iron sheets because am preparing to build my house when i receive my second transfer. secondly i bought food since we did not have food at home. the remaining was used to buy fertilizer, mattress and other basic needs.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving money from Givedirectly means alot to me considering that i am very old and i do not have much energy to look for money for food and basic needs by myself
What is the happiest part of your day?
Morning
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I dont not have any reliable source of income, i only sell small pieces of firewood which i collect from the nearby mountain, so finding money each and every single day is very difficult for me.
