How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before receiving the money,building a new house was something i could only dream of. But now,with the money,i have been able to begin construction of new house and i am very proud of that achievement.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give directly has improved so many of our livelihoods. We have been able to improve our living conditions with the money we have received and i cant think of anything else they are not doing well on.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Most of my recent transfer has been spent on the building project of my house. I also had a load i needed to pay back and i have done just that with the money i received recently.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I will be able to renovate my house, I will also buy some livestock for my food and income security
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am usually happy during the afternoon when I find food for my children but I am mostly sad because I am failing to provide for them
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I've faced is constant sickness for my children and ever since my husband died I've been struggling , there are some things I cannot do for myself I still need a man by my side
