What does receiving this money mean to you?
As a struggling father, I have no source of income to pay people to work on my farm. My children have not reached the age to help me with the farm's work. The little farm I make in a year cannot feed my family and generate income for us. If I receive this cash transfer I will hire more workers that will help me make a larger farm. Some of the harvest will be sold and the income generated will be used to renovate my house and pay my children's tuition.
What is the happiest part of your day?
During my childhood, my parents did not send me to any formal school, this made life difficult for me but since I obtained a certificate in Auto Driving I know that I have a little hope. With this knowledge I can have a peace of mind because I know that one day I will find a job that will sustain my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Since I obtained a certificate in Auto Driving, I have not been able to get a job that I can use to generate income for my children's tuition. As such my children have left and gone to live with people who are ill_treating them. I want to bring them home but right now I am not working and I don't have an income to attend to their basic needs.
