How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Our lives are very different and happier than before we received the transfer. We were struggling with alot if debts and life was very miserable.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well to give us money that has helped my family. In my opinion Givedirectly has not done anything wrong to us.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent 800,000 ugx to pay off debts and 200,000 ugx to hire a plot of land. I lent my brother 150,000 ugx and the balance I bought some household items and food for the family.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for paying off mortgage of 650,000ugx and got back my land. I paid i debt of 320,000ugx, i bought an ox plough at 80,000ugx, i also bought food and household items, paid school fees of 20,000ugx. I have a balance of 300,000ugx which am still planing for.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i received money i felt so happy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that i got back my land and i have already cultivated food on it unlike before when i did not have land.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face is lack of money for purchasing a piece of land to cultivate, so I do not get enough harvests every year. My family therefore sturves some day's.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest moment is during evening hours.This the time i rest while chatting with my family members.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means,it will make me buy a piece of land for cultivation and a cow. The land i shall cultivate to get crops produce that my family will feed on and the cow shall provide milk.
