What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
The first thing we will do is to buy a sewing machine for my sister. The machine will cost $250. The machine will help her to make money by sewing clothes for her clients. The second thing we will buy a cow, because we need manure to use in our land as the one we had, we have sold it to buy the land, therefore, we will have to buy another one to replace it . The cow will cost $250. The rest of money will be used to renew the the house , we will cover it with cement and those activities will cost $200.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The first thing that brought me joy lately is that we have got solar panel in our house, now during the night we have light and because of that I am able to work during night hours as I am used to do knitting. It has brought me joy because during the day I do agricultural activities and then,in the evening I do the knitting because I have light at home. It is really helpful because I am able to do it even at night.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main challenge we are facing is poverty, we don't have money, there sometimes when we borrow money so that we can pay health insurance. The other challenge is that my sister has finished learning to use sewing machine and we are worried about where we will get money to buy the machine so that she can start working and get money to support us at home.
