Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so happy and very grateful. Receiving this money was a great opportunity for me as I will be able to build a house a thing that has been the most challenging.

There is a big difference in my life as I am able to sleep on a mattress which in the past I did not have.
I will have a completely new house with iron sheets and I will have peace of mind as in the past most of the times I spent much time thinking about the problem of my leaking house.

The cash was used to purchase building materials such as iron sheets as I am planning on building a new house.
I also bought beddings such as blankets and duvets as well as a huge mattress..The other part of the money was spent on buying bags of maize..I then saved some of the money so that I can pay the builders when will be working on my house.

I am very happy and I will be very happy for a longtime after I receive the money. I will be able to achieve some of my dreams and I will remember GiveDirectly for the rest of my life.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when I have money and enough food for my family. I become very happy because having food makes my children happy and I like to see them play whilst they have had enough food.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face is the sickness of my children. When my children are sick I become very worried.
