How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes I have a new goal that I did not have before receiving the money from GD. I don't have a job and I have no source of money. I have a goal to invest my money in a business. I want to start selling second hand cloths around my area, this way I will still have some money coming in my life after GD leaves our village. This way I will be able to take care of my two children.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GD does well by helping the poor with cash transfers. From January to February everyone who received money from GD has been very happy because we were able to buy enough food for our homes . GD can do well by helping for more months because after the money is finished we won't have anyway to receive extra help.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have used my recent transfer from GD to buy iron sheets so that i can build a house after the rain season is over. At the moment I and my two children stay in a kitchen because we have no house. I also saved some of my money so that I can invest in a business where by i will be selling second hand cloths in my area that way I have some money from the profits of the business.
