My goal is to buy a motorcycle and run it as a business, since I graduated from high school, I have not been able to go to college to aquire higher education because of lack of money, I have three children now and I need to keep supporting them in school. GiveDirectly does well by being fair in their processes, I have not seen such organization giving help like this unconditionally, they also send the transfers through our mobile accounts which reduces cheating to me. I have not seen anything wrong with GiveDirectly program, all is well with me.

I haven't withdraw my second transfer because I want it to add to the remaining transfers so that I can buy the motorcycle that I want to run as business. I know when I start the business, I will achieve so many things that I want in life.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I'm successfully enrolled in to Give Directly's cash transfer program, I plan to do business with the money that I will receive. I plan to do business because, I feel it will enable me send my children to school also help to sustain my family. If all goes well, from this same business I will be able to start up by building my house, a plan that I have had for a long time now, though I haven't been able to achieve it due to the lack of money.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months, what has brought me joy is the peaceful coexistence that continue to exist between my spouse and myself amidst the many challenges. Even though times are hard, but we are happily living in this house with our kids, so this brings me joy or happiness as the head of this household, always trusting that things will be fine with us some days.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I'm currently facing several challenges but mostly the lack of money and food. Since my wife and I started having children, things haven't been easy for us especially getting food for the family and also trying to send our kids to school. The only source of income for this family is the making of cassava patch, where we plant cassava and when it is ready for harvest,we do that and later try to make fufu out of the cassava and then we take it to the nearby market in Sass town where we have it sold to sustain our family. We sometimes try to burn chal coal but even the money earned from the coal sales can't be sufficient to Sustain us fully, it only helps us sometimes in buying few food and food items for our home.
