What did you spend your third transfer on?
I did spend my transfer to purchase a sofa set and a cupboard that costed me 18,000 KES. Unfortunately, my husband got an accident and his eye was injured. The remaining amount was spent on medication. Though he is not completed treated am glad the amount did push the treatment process and made the burden a little more lighter.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent most of my second transfer to buy building like iron sheets, timber and nails which I have used to extend the house I was living in. I bought 15 bags of cement and sand which I intend to use in renovating my house from mud to plastered and also paid laborers who built my house. I bought household utensils which I did not have and the remaining amount I spent to buy household goods and personal items which we did not have as a family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, the amount of money we had saved for a long time which we wanted to use in expanding our house, we can now use to do something constructive like even starting a business. Thank you GD for the transfer

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I am facing is the low income. My husband is a motorcycle taxi rider, and of late there is low passenger turnout, and this can be reflected in low income, hence low or non satisfaction of our daily basic needs, like food and clothing. So many people have also invested on this business, resulting to low daily income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is day time, because that is when i interact with many people and that makes me forget some economic problems i normally face in my life.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Before i was enrolled into Give Directly program, my husband took motorcycle on credit since he is motorcycle taxi rider, and he has not cleared that loan. By getting this money, we shall be able to clear that loan and have full possession of that motorcycle.
