I spent the whole of my second transfer on buying building materials ( iron sheets,poles,timber,nails, door, windows) and paid for building labor.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I had a one room house with six children plus us (my spouse and I) staying in it. We used to find it hard staying in such a squeezed house but now I have a three room house. This is enough to fit my family and I can now buy households because I have enough space to store them. This is the biggest difference in my daily life.

With my first transfer, I bought cushions @1800 Kes, a jiko @300 Kes, paid school fees of 600 Kes and spent the rest on buying food.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received the transfer I felt very excited and strong because I have never had such amount of money in my hands/as my own. The money when I was at a crisis and my children were so hungry and I was stressed over what they would eat but that to God and GD we got food.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I have faced economic hardship as my hardest hardship. I've got a larger family and bringing food to the table for the family has been a challenge most of the time. Now i have got hope that my economic burden will be at least lighter after receiving trasfer.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is night. This is when all members of the family assembled at the table taking evening meal, it's also the time i am resting after all day activities.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will be great economic booster to be, because of late, we have been straining in order to get food, clothing and also pay fees to my children, but now this transfer is light of hope to me and family. I also have a small house in poor condition, which cannot accommodate all family members.
