How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has really changed with the coming of givedirectly into our village. I will now own a proper house because of this project

Givedirectly is doing everything so well, this program should continue so that many people should get help.

I used the money I received to buy bricks for building my house and I used some of the money to food for my family

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy and it was like a dream i could hardly believe i wanted to withdraw the money on very same day but i did not happen since the agent had no enough money foe us to withdraw and it took three days
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Sleeping with a torn blanket is now history we are so happy and during the cold season we are not going to struggle since we have now bought warm blankets with the money from GD

I have bought bags of maize, blankets and clothes for my children since i have been planning for a very long time to buy these things for my children but since i had no money i was failing to do so but after receiving the funds from GD my plans have been fulfilled and we are so grateful for the funds

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I will use the money to buy mattress and iron sheets for the house as well as fertiliser as I always have low yield.
What is the happiest part of your day?
If I have eaten that day that makes me happy no matter the part of the day.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I always struggle to find food and provide for my three children.
