Before the entry of GiveDirectly I had planned to build a new house, but because of my financial condition I couldn't build a house. I have a very large family and my parents house can't contain everyone, more besides I am a man of my own with a family. This is a dream come true for me, GiveDirectly has given me a new beginning.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly is doing well by providing assistance to the less fortunate people within our town that's impacting lot of people now. I want the money that is given at the second and other levels should be higher than what is given at first transfer.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My current challenge now is since I molded the 500 blocks to start my house construction, I have not been able to start the house project due to lack of enough money. My farm this year never produced as expected and it left me with no option then too put the work on hold.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Over the last six months what has brought me joy is the news that GiveDirectly is in our district and now that they have come to enroll our community makes me even happier.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
The house I live in now belongs to my old parents and I don't have my own house. I have already molded 500 blocks to start my house construction. When I am successful and received the transfer from GiveDirectly, I will use the transfer to build my house and the balance to invest more into my farm.
