Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy and excited. The money gave me renewed hope and energy as i knew from that moment that most of my problems were over even before cashing out. I thank God for GD and may they continue doing this good work for others as well.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I am now at peace and always in a happy mood. As things now are progressing well in my life than before, at first I was anxious on where to get the money to finish the projects I started especially my house but GD has made sure to make my dreams come true.I am very thankful
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The money arrived at my most moment of need. This was the time i was sick and in hospital. This situation got worse as my house was destroyed by heavy winds and this included some property. From the money i managed to replace household items, i bought iron sheets to put on a new roof from the thatvhed house i had. I sent some money to my child at the nearest boarding school and bought a bicycle for him to be travelling safely as he used to walk to school. The other money went towards food and fertilizer.
