Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have been operating a small business to help me see my family through but it has not been doing good of late after taking part in my capital to spend on my household needs and children's education. In the next four months, the new goal I have for my life is to boost this business again to its initial position. Reviving it will translate to higher profits that will improve my family standards.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I am proud to own a dairy cow in my homestead courtesy of GiveDirectlyt. I struggle to bring in assets that I can take pride in and lean on in case of financial needs but this had been challenging due to limited resources. My income has been too small to cater for both household daily needs and investments. I am currently keeping a cow that recently calved thus I have milk for my family consumption and sales. This has greatly changed my life in that I have added assets and I have reduced my household daily expenditure. I expect to have more offsprings which to me which I can always depend on in case of any financial crisis. To me having livestock on my farm is the biggest difference in my daily life.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I believe I will have been able to boost my business. I expect to be earning higher profits thus meeting my family needs will much easier than now.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
In my life the biggest daily difference is having my own cow. Some of my neighbours would refuse to give us milk, because most of them took money from milk vendors in advance. I remember sometimes will wait for a whole morning without milk only to end up taking strong tea. We have plenty at the moment and even sell for other house hold needs.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My business will be up and running in the next six months, my child will go to school without doubts. The problems at the moment are those I can easily handle. Unlike before I was so cynical about my children's education for lack of a good income. With my business in place I will be able to pay school fees with less pressure and stress.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am happier and has more inner peace my family has milk and we are reviving our life. My wife has gone back to business. Children do not miss school and we eat more healthy. Unlike before our children would miss school for lack of enough money to pay all their tuition requirements.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
My newest goal is to go back into business. I will use my next transfer as starting capital. I have renewed my contracts in places I use to supply chicken. This business collapsed earlier for lack of enough finances to run it and enough for school fees.
