What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I spent 30000 on 2 bulls and invested the rest of the money in a barber shop that has really uplifted my life.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before I received money from Give Directly, I used to live in a tiny house that caused me a lot of embarrassment that long till I extended it; my household members can now get a sufficient place to live. Besides, I have acquired more wealth and source of income for example, I have invested in livestock and a barbers shop that bring me more income. I am now able to fend for my household members more easily as opposed to before when I could walk around begging for people. This is how my life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion, what Give Directly did well is that it sent us money directly as it promised us but it would be prudent they consider helping the poorest a little longer so that we may be able to make a huge step in life.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfer, I spent it on 20 iron sheets, a sofa set and a sack of maize. I would like to build a new house since my current one is very tiny and poorly ventilated which is a health concern to us.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that Give Directly has moved me closer to my dreams. I had been longing for a better house but since I never had means of achieving this dream, it has been bouncing me all along till Give Directly came to my rescue.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on paying fees for my three dependants in primary school, bought a table and maize which is our staple food. I feel very relieved after paying school fees which was my major challenge.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was both surprised and excited when I saw a message that I had received the money from GiveDirectly. So many people in the village were spreading rumours that GiveDirectly was not real on sending cash transfers,so I was not sure of receiving the money until they sent it.
