What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on stalking good stuffs to feed my family and avoid the insidence of famine that had struck the area. I also bought a bicycle to help in transportation to and from various places like market, hospital, fetching water. I was also in position to repare my house since it was in total bad shape. I also did some shopping for Christmas and now keeping the balance to take back my children to school.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, I am happy about what GD has done well because we were poor and did not know where to turn and get help but GD came and saved us by financially helping us. To me, GD has done nothing bad only good.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I had never received the transfer, my family and I would be out of my house now because it was about to fall but when I received the transfer, I repaired it and we are now still living in it.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on purchasing iron sheets worth 40,000 UGX for roofing my pit latrine and a sofa set worth 550,000 UGX. I also bought two doors at 140,000 UGX ,13 bags of cement , and I spent 100,000 UGX on buying maize grain then I also spent 157,000 UGX on paying my builders.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was over joyed and I remember dancing that day . That moment was my happiest moment ever. I had never felt such joy and what a relief I felt because my life was now heading to a better direction.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life was bad and unbearable before but after I received the cash transfer my daily life for a new transformation. I am now happier and comfortable in my home.

The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon when I have finished to eat lunch and playing with my husband.
