What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that I have been able to pay school fees for three of my children in college. I was able to do this through saving little income that I have been getting from farming and I managed to send them to College until they finished.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I have faced in life is lack of a stable source of income to pay school fees and also meet other household requirements. I still have some of my children in high school and a daughter who should be joining college. All this needs money and being that am just a peasant farmer, this has made life to look difficult to me.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I am selling mandazis in my kiosk. It has been a source of earning a living to my family and I feel happy whenever I do it.
