How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I will now be happy with my wife since now she will have a house that her husband has built for her in her home village. She will be proud of me all thanks to the program.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion everything that GiveDirectly does it does well. All the programme are fair and just having control on the transfer is also something good this has allowed me to buy things i wanted.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I married my wife 3 years back and i have been unable to build her house in her home village. I live with my wife in my own village but custom requires one to build his wife a house. With my second transfer, i have started organising bricks and timber to build my wife a house in her home village. I have also given a deposit to the builders to start the work. I could not have afforded to build my wife a house anytime soon on my own because i just depend on casual labour jobs such as farming or giving mud to builders which is very little money only enough for food

It has meant an opportunity to boast my business an to provide for my family
What is the happiest part of your day?
Afternoon, because it is the time I get to have food with my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Finding enough money to buy food has been a great challenge , most rely on piece works which sometimes does not get me enough to feed my family.
