Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months I have a new goal to add up the herd. We are planning to add another cow since it has been profitable when we sell milk. We have planted enough grass and the outcome from selling milk has also been enough to buy other supplementary feeds for our cows.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the presence of two cows. This has solved the milk-buying problem we had been having. We are currently producing enough to use both within the household and some surplus to sell. The two cows have really brought a lot of difference in our daily life. We used to fully depend on the casual labor but currently we may go for weeks without working on the casual work and still able to settle our household bills since we are selling milk. We are grateful for everything that has happened to us and we are praying hard that other well wishers may come our way.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I don't expect to have accomplish any goal since we are currently faced with the challenge of settling a hospital bill of 490000 KES. Our child was admitted for one month in the mission hospital and the bill had been rising every other time till yesterday when he was discharged. We are up to ensure that we clear the bill first then later we will focus on buying another cow.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving the transfer is that am stressfree of financial constraints I have had for long. I used the transfer to settle an accrued family debt and also got a chance to cultivate using the transfer.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to be better in that my farming will be productive unlike. I expect my children to be having a better enviroment of their education.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different from how it would have been if I had not received the transfer in that I am happy to have given my children a good education which leads to their good life in the future. I am also currently able to do my own work at home maximizing the resources that have been idle for long due to lack of resources to use. Currently am there for my family unlike before when I used to spend most of my time in the forest fetching for firewood to sell to get some money for household use.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
The new goal that I have gotten that I didn't 't have before receiving the transfer include building a house and starting livestock keeping.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is the struggle that comes along with taking care of my family.I have six children and it has not been easy ensuring that they get food and attend school now that I depend on casual labour.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening.This is the time that my mind is relaxed beacuse I am done with the day's activities.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on building a house.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is having a family.I am very greatful to God for my children and whenever I see them growing up and going to school I feel very proud.They are my inspiration and each day I work extra hard because of them.I am quite sure that they will become better than me in future and be able to help me at my old age.
