How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Cattles ( I want to involve ) My goal is to become a successful farmer especially in animal husbandry. Therefore, I used the money I have received from Givedirectly to pay school fees and to pay for cow as a startup.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I feel that Givedirectly has done extremely well for me through the cash transfer program. This has helped me to pay for a cow. To own a cow has been my plan longtime ago but couldn't afford the cost until when Givedirectly started working in my community. However, I am a pride owner of a cow which I have long been wishing for. I believe that few years from now I will be a successful farmer in animal husbandry.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my recent money on my children's school and also used some to purchase cow.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My name is Diaculty Sogbie. I lost my wife since two years ago. My mother took my children to help me care for them since their mother had died. They currently live in Sando County. I live here alone in my uncle's house. I burn fire cold to sell just to be able to support my family. When I receive this cash transfer from GiveDirectly, my plan is to build my own house and bring my children back home. I will also use part of this transfer to support my children in school. In addition, I intend to buy cattle.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months I have had some joy which include: getting daily bread and having good health. I have also been happy because my children are in school and they are doing well. Most recently, I feel so happy because GiveDirectly is working in my community and is going to help me through their cash transfer.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Currently my greatest challenge is that I don't have a spouse. Since I lost my wife, I have not been able to get another wife to help me take care of my children. I burn fire cold to sell just to support my family.
