How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because i am happy to have acquired what I wouldn't have a my life time.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, givedirectly has done well uplifted people's livelihood by giving us money to buy livestock, land and household items; I don't see anything it hasn't done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy iron sheets, bricks, and sand I preparation to build a simple iron sheet roofed house.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is generally happiness. This kind of happiness has never been in my family.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i recieved my money, i felt so happy. This is after my neighbour received the message and she came to tell me as well that money has been sent.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to pay school fees, then i bought 18 iron sheets which i will use to put up a house, bought a pair of bed sheets, a small solar panel for lighting at night, a pair of gumboots, two hoes, clothes for the children, and am saving the small balance.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is inadquency of money to invest in my children's education.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Evening time is my happiest part of the day. This is the time i share stories with my children.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means investing in the education of my children. This money will enable us pay school fees and buy scholastic materials for them.
