What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on paying dowry for my wife and school fees for my six children in primary school.I also bought four goats and two sacks for maize to consume with my family.I am very proud to have traditionally recognised our marriage.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have gained peace of mind and self esteem since I recieved my transfer from GiveDirectly. I am living a meangful life and having basic commodities like seats, bed and enough food even on dry seasons of hunger. May God bless the organization.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has done well in sending transfers directly without involving middlemen or political leaders. This has helped in reducing corruption and enabling us to get our money in right amount. I do not know what GD should improve on.
