Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
Someone checked their phone and came to the town to tell us that's how I went Mecca to check my phone and i saw the message. I was so happy because my children were not going to school so when the money came and i cash out i paid my children school.fees, and did things that were most important. Thank God for GiveDirectly.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Everyday i wake up to know that i was able to take care of problems that were serious in my life. Now i see my life changing becaause I have money.

Most of my transfer was spent on children school requirements like school fees , uniforms books and i invested money on the farm as well.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I live in another person's house and would love to build a new house for my family because I want to be free to do whatever I want to do in my house. Although they are not treating me bad but having my own place will make me feel better. So when I receive this transfer, I will like to build my own house.
The next thing I want to do is to do business. I was doing business before but got sick. In my right leg, I used to feel pain in it. I used the money to treat herself and my business broke down.
If the money is that much, if possible, I will build a small shop where I will be selling my market and keep supporting my children in school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months, what has brought me joy was when my children made passing marks in school. Three of my children are attending school in Monrovia and when the academic year ended, they came out with flying colors. This made me very happy and proud. I felt very proud because the sufferings I passed through to send them to school was not wasted.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
One major challenge that I face currently is leg pain. Twenty two years ago, when I bore my first child, I noticed pain in my left leg. From that time up to now, I still feel more pain. Year before last, the pain increased and it made me to use my business money for my treatment. The pain is mainly from my waist to my knee.
