What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have always wanted to start selling fish in this village. People have not tapped into this business and I am confident that once I start I will be able to get a high return from it. Folks in my village are used to silver cyprinid (omena) but I will be selling different varieties. This will make my business stand out from the rest. I will get the products from Kongowea, the market there is vast and cost-effective.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Early this week my son was blessed with a son and I am awaiting the arrival of my newest grandchild. It is always a joy to see another addition to our family, it is a blessing from the Almighty. I might slaughter a chicken or two once they come back from the hospital.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I have a health condition called dysuria a discomfort when urinating. I have sought medical help from different doctors but none has been able to assist. Recently one doctor made this diagnosis but I did not have the money to pay him to treat me. This condition has affected my work and personal life. My legs also tend to swell and my hands are shaky. I struggle to move or hold anything in my hands.
