I bough smearing soil 10000 KES, windows 8000 KES, fascia board 4000 KES, furniture 8000 KES, iron sheets 8000 KES, maize 5000 KES and spent 3000 KES to buy utensils and clothes for children.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
I have a new goal of cementing my house and educating my child.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am now living in a bigger house and having most of the things I was lacking like furniture , bed and mattress. Life is different because my life has improved generally.

l spend the transfer to extend my house so l bought 15 iron-sheets at 9750 kshs, poles 4800 kshs, nails at 2550 kshs , steel door 8000 kshs , transport 2500 kshs , l paid labor of 5000 kshs the remaining a mount use to buy solar.

I'm planning to enlarge my house because my current house is too small. I have a plan of building a pit latrine with a portion of the transfer while the rest I'll use to medicate my child who is always sick.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I would like to use part of the transfer to pay school fees for my daughter who did standard eight last year and is joining high school. Secondly l would wish to build a new house since my house is in a bad condition. I would also like to seek medical attention for my daughter who has been very sick. Finally l would like to build a pit latrine to improve the health of my family.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that l struggled to build my own house since my husband died when we did not have any house.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship in life is my daughter's health condition.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the is in the morning when I have got some work knowing that I will have food for my family.
