How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal is to have a motorbike for myself. Because this is a work I have been doing for people long enough. I am tired of riding for people. Working for people has earned me nothing. What I make cannot even sustain my family and I. When I got enrolled on GD's program and started to received money directly, I used my transfer to paid for a motorbike that I am doing work and pay for.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
It is through GiveDirectly that I have a motorcycle for myself. I am very grateful for getting on GiveDirectly program. Because without GiveDirectly I could not have owned a motorcycle soon enough. This I find as something so well that GiveDirectly is doing. And as for things not done well, I am not aware of any.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my most recent transfer on the completion of a motorbike that I was working to pay for. I have four living children and a wife. Supporting them has not been easy. Riding motorbike for others has been my everyday job and I do not make enough money from it. What I earned cannot even sustain my family and I. I am tire of continuously working for people. So spent my last transfer to complete the payment of a motorbike.

No! I don't have any new goals. I am a poor man. I have suffered in life. Things were so hard on me. I took a motorcycle on loan to run as commercial bike. I run and pay the loan weekly. I was astonished when I got enrolled in the GiveDirectly cash program. My goal has always been to build a house. I am going to stick to my old goal till I accomplish it. I'm grateful. After this program my life will improve.

The house I live in is a family house. Things have been so hard on me. I was overwhelmed when GiveDirectly came to my town. Fortunately, I got enrolled in this program. Now my life will never be the same again. I bought zinc to build my house and some food for my family. I took a motorcycle on loan for commercial use. It has been a bit challenging paying back the loan. Grateful for this program,I used the rest of my transfer to pay off the loan. Hopefully when I receive the other transfers I will buy other materials and rest of the zinc to build my house.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received my first transfer, I was very much astonished. I am a jobless father who only source of income is to do daily hire in order to provide food and other needs for my children. When ever the opportunity of been hire for the day was not possible my family would go to bed without a decent meal. This bought so much sadness to me as a father. I have been desiring to buy a motorbike that I will use as a means of transport and that will be a source of income for my family. GiveDirectly has done more for my family and I for this we are forever grateful.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Since I started receiving payment from GiveDirectly, I am now a happy person. For the passed years I have been working for other people for little or nothing just to cater for my family. Things had not been easy for my family. Finding food or even paying tuition was never easy to do. However, with GiveDirectly transfer I'm now going to become my own boss. I am planning on waiting patiently for the next two transfers to be able to purchase a motorbike that will be use for commercial purpose. Happily, with this plan I'll become an independent man and the earnings from the bike will be of great help to my family. I am one of the happiest man in my village to be a beneficiaries of this program.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My desire of buying my own motorbike that through it I Will become self employed and my own boss cannot be change for anything, now that I have started receiving payment from GiveDirectly. However, I planned to wait for the next two transfers as promised by this Organization, so the money can be enough to buy the motorbike.
