How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before the coming of GiveDirectly, I have been wanting to buy one new motorbike that will help me financially to be able to take care of my grand mother and myself and also solve some of my problems. I am the only person taking care of my grand mother. She is very sick and I have taken her to be my responsibility because there is no one in my family that is willing to take the initiative to take of her. I planned to purchase the motorbike because of business purpose. It will help me save more money for future used if the transfer from Givedirectly stops coming.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion about GiveDirectly, I believe that GiveDirectly does well by visiting every deserving households in the town and determining their eligibility during the enrolment process. I just want to be grateful to GiveDirectly for everything they have done in my.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I receive my first transfer from GiveDirectly, I used it on my grand mother's health because she was very sick. My second and third transfer was used on the purchasing of one motorbike for transportation purposes to help myself with financial income and my sustainability. I am waiting for my last transfer to complete the payment of the bike for my future financial income.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my transfer I felt so happy. This money have been a great help to my family. My grandmother has been sick and there's no one to cater to her. For some years now I moved back home to take care of her. I sell farina for a living. I use money for my upkeep and pay my son tuition. Things got hard on my family. My son dropped out of school. I am grateful for this opportunity. Our lives will never be the same again.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving payments from GiveDirectly is that I can now afford to feed my family. J no longer worry about my grandmother food and daily meals. I don't even stress about my son school fees. GiveDirectly has given us a golden opportunity and made our dreams to come true.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I haven't withdrawn the money but when I do, I will use some of it change the roof of our house. I will also use some of my money to buy food. I will use the rest to pay my son tuition. I am so thankful for this amazing opportunity. Things have been difficult for us. We could hardly afford our daily meals. Hopefully our lives will get better after receiving all the money.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When I'm blessed to receive money from GIVEDIRECTLY i will start a new business and save myself from the work of planting cassava, digging it and patching it to fix gari. The firework is too hard for me to continue doing..
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months the only happiness I've received is the coming of Givedirectly to our town. We have been left out by most NGOs in time past.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest challenge is to find an alternative to making farm using the amount of labour we're using now. The farming causes to much pain and drain us that why we get old soon.
