What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used the money to build a new house for my family. I initially had a bad house that was in a bad shape but I am currently living comfortably in a two bed-roomed house.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfer, I built a semi-permanent house of 38 iron sheets. My former house was too tiny to offer us comfort we needed in life for example, it couldn't withstand heavy wind, it was overcrowded and poorly ventilated-it was just that daunting!
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Currently, I live with a lot happiness and self-esteem. This is because, I have been dreaming of having a better house but it was impossible since I never had means of achieving this dream and therefore when I got this money and built a bigger house I had been craving for, I felt the relief and the joy!

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying a bag of maize 4500 KES and household expenditure 4,000 KES. I also bought bedding for my children 1500 KES.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the first transfer,I felt very happy since at that time I had no money to buy food for that day hence upon seeing an Mpesa message from GiveDirectly verifying that money was sent. I was assured that my family was going to have enough food from that day hence forth because they haven't been feeding on balanced diet due to scarcity of food and high cost of living.
