How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
No. My goal has been to build a house for myself. I have been worrying about my life because to have food to eat have been so difficult on me. I have been living in my uncle house over ten years. I am a farmer and been suffering to sustain myself. However,GiveDirectly have helped me so greatly and took away my suffering by giving this unconditional cash to change my living conditions.

GiveDirectly have helped me with cash to improve my life. Thanks to them for remembering the poor people. GiveDirectly have no fault at all.

I will use my most recent transfer to buy fifteenth gallons of gasoline and food. I will also pay contractors to start my house project. I will saved the remaining money.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The old house my family and I are staying in is leaking so badly. I have not been able to renovate this house because of my financial strength. I have planned that if I have ever gotten money, I would have renovated it and also build a new and decent house for the comfort of my family. When I receive my first transfer from Givedirectly, I decided to split it into portions. The first portion I use portion it to buy two bundles of zinc. The other portion, I used some of it to buy a new mattress because I have almost like been sleeping on the ground because the piece of mattress I been sleeping on is very much flat and finished. When my second transfer came, I bought one cutlass fpr my agriculture activities for future income. I also bought rice and I am paying someone to help me cut the sticks for the house.

I believe that GiveDirectly is doing very much well for me because things that I could not have done by myself because I didn't have any money, I am doing them now. I am thankful to GiveDirectly for everything that it it is doing and for what it has done to change my life and my family also.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so excited when I firstly received my mobile money and I begin to celebrate for the progress made in my life, because I long been thinking about building my own house, but unfortunately for me, I been having a very poor income and been stoping with my friend for long period of time now and I can some time be very shame as a man.This is my first time receiving this amount of money in cash in my life. What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My current challenge right now is money problem, I do not have money and since my parents died only my family numbers can help me at times so I need money to help myself, so money problem is my current challenge for now.
