Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I am planning to purchase livestock as a form of investment and also for rearing. This will increase our net worth as a homestead.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference is that I was able to afford a good meal in the past four months thanks to the support that I have received from Give Directly. Before we used to live from hand to mouth and I this was the worse experience ever.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I anticipate living a better life than the one I am experiencing right now. This is because I will have fulfilled part of my dream that is rearing livestock and having a healthy diet.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Months ago, I had a business that supported me financially, but when it collapsed, things became really tough for my family. Then, I would spend most of my transfers on long-lasting household items and even clothes for my children because the business would take care of the daily basic needs. Now that I have no business, I have to spend the transfers on foodstuff and nothing is left for any long-lasting projects or items.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
When I lost my child last month, I had to quit my business to give myself time to heal emotionally and mourn my baby. During this period, I spent all the profits and the capital from the business which has made it impossible for me to revive it. When I receive the next transfer, I will revive the business so that I can earn some money and support my spouse financially because he's currently struggling to fend for our family through his little income.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
My husband and I do not earn much from our daily hustles which in most cases means that we cannot always afford what we need as a family. Thankfully the transfers that we receive monthly take a very huge part of our monthly budget which ensures that the deficit is taken care of and my family can comfortably afford quality meals unlike before that we had been on a strict diet and budget.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
Having no source of income especially when one had been used to earning something daily is very tough. I am not happy with my current situation where I have to beg for financial assistance, which is why I wish to start a new business soon. My hope is that in the next six months, the new business I am planning to start will be very stable enough to enable me to take care of my household needs with ease and be independent.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My children dress better than they did before because I have used part of my previous transfers to buy them better clothes. There is a big difference in their current dressing compared to months a got that most of their clothes were tattered and patched.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I recently separated from husband due to family quarrels and I am currently living with my aunt together with my three children. It is a huge burden on her part as she also does not have a stable source of income. To ease the burden on her side, I would like to use my next transfer to start a business of my own in order to be able to take care of own needs and those of my children.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Being that I have no stable job and only depend on casual jobs, these transfers have enabled me to take care of my family's needs during the tough times when there are no jobs around the village. I am able to buy my children food and have not had a day in the last four months they slept went to bed on empty stomach.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect that in six months time, I will have a stable business so that I can be able to provide for my children and reduce the burden my aunt currently has of providing for us. I have not yet decided on the type of business I want to do yet, but I am sure I will know by the time I receive my next transfer because I will seek advice from my aunt who has been in business for a very long time.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference is the peace of mind I have knowing that soon I will be having an iron roofed house free from the leaky grass thatched house.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect my life to be more comfortable. I will be having nice iron roofed house and probably some livestock.
