What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying a cow for rearing. I did this as an investment. I also bought a sack of food to help overcome the hunger that is alot these days.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I would have lost my site and maybe even died because i had a problem with my eyes and general health but I could not afford the medical attention that I required however my life is different now because i managed to get medical attention and I regained my sight and my health is okay. I managed to get the above because i received transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GD does well by delivering as promised. And also not asking for anything in return for the transfers.

I spent most of my first transfer on paying debts for people who were lending money to go to hospital before I received and the rest I used to buy a mattress and bedsheets since I also didn't have them.
