How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I was thinking to sent my husband for proper treatment with this second transfer but he told me his conditions is not an emergency , with that aspect we decided to use our second transfer in different direction that will help I and my children for tomorrow.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own view , sending free unconditional cash transfer to me is like I'm dreaming, because there are lots of problems I'm facing as an individual but with this transfer I will be abel to solve most of my problem . In this aspect , GD did well. Looking at things from my end , I had not see anything's that GD did that does not go will or do well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I'm planing to save my second transfer, with that I can be abel to purchase some house materials and others building materials so I can start my new house construction process in due time , reason being is that, we been living in palm Tash house for so many years, with the help of GD I will be able to build my zinc house and send my children to school for better education.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
From 2009 up to present, my family and I have been living in a house that is in a deplorable conditions. My husband has been sick for more than 8 years now and is not able to do any physical work currently to help the family. My two children, Lee Nyenpan and Maybel Chea dropped out of grade school since 2019 and have not gone back to school due to lack of financial support. I have been laying basket for the past 8 years to enable me feed the family. If my household quality for GiveDirectly cash transfer program, the money will be used to rebuild my house and portion will go toward the payment of my children's school fees. In addition to that, I intend to use portion of the money to start a business to help my husband in the home.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My younger sister, Josephine Jerry has been sick for more than 4 months almost at the point of death. She was bless to have come across a good medical Doctor who properly diagnosed her sickness and was subsequently treated. When I spoke with her about a month ago and she told me that she was well and healthy, it brought joy to my family and I. She is my youngest sister who sometimes help me with money to buy food for the house.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
For the past 8 years dating back from 2013, I have been laying basket on a daily basis to catch crawfish and crabs to be taken to the market for sale to help me sustain the family. Going to the creek which is joining with the Yannie River on a daily basis poses serious treat to my life and is also affecting my health status. Finding an alternative solution to this strenuous means of survival which I have been involved with for years upon years to take care of my family and I is the biggest challenge I am currently facing.
