Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
There is a big difference in my life because I have started the construction of an iron roofed which makes me happy. I had a dream of building such a house but it was not coming to pass because I did not have enough money. I thank GiveDirectly for sending me this money.

The moment I received the transfer, I felt so happy because this transfer was going help me construct an iron roofed house. I bought meat for my family to eat as a celebration.

I spent my first transfer on purchase of bricks at UGX 1,000,000. I paid the builder UGX 200,000 and used UGX 100,000 for buying utensils and clothes. I have saved UGX 400,000 which intend to used for buying Iron sheets.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Recieving this money means I will build an iron roofed house because the grass thatched house I currently occupy is very small in size and not enough to accomodate my family.I will also buy household items because we dont have what is required in a home.This will make my household a complete home with these household items.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I have been paid after casual work because I get money that enables me to feed my family and provide for other basic needs.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship is that my children fall sick more frequently and its very costly interms of catering for medical treatment bills with no clear source of income.Sometimes when my children fall sick, I dont get enough time to engage in any productive activity like garden work because I have to attend to them when they are sick.
