What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will mean a debt relief burden. I have a family of two children and all depend on me for food and other basic needs. I own a motorcycle which I purchased it through a loan.I usually pay KES.400 per day to the lenders and this has been strenuous to me.Their are other commitments that are in my shoulder but unfortunately I have not been able to achieve them. We are happy that we shall be relieved from this burden of paying a debt. I therefore intend to pay the balance of KES65,000 to clear the debt and also use the remaining to start a retail shop within the village.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I was happy when I got a new motorcycle through the credit for five months ago now. This was something that I needed most in my life. At some point when i wanted to purchase that motorcycle but I did not have enough money. The idea of borrowing came up and I grap the opportunity. This is what make me to be busy always through out the days and we are greaful for it.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Currently one of the challenges is food insecurity in my family. Since my daily income goes to offseting the loan, the burden of buying food remain constant. We also live in a dry land and whatever we plant does not bare good production. It has been a big challenge to buy food on daily basis and the income is not sufficient for us.
