I spent my second transfer on building a decent spacious two roomed house in my homestead and now I have dissaproved my village members who looked down upon me thinking I will never move out of my parent's homestead as the customary laws states since even the house I was staying in before the transfer was built by my brothers out of good will as I was viewed incapable due to lack of money.I also paid school fees for my two children who are in primary school and bought food for my family to feed on.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on paying 3,000 KES school fee for my child in high school, bought a sack of maize at 3,500 KES, a goat at 1,800 KES then used the rest of the cash on food for the house.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I had mixed reactions of happiness and fear when I received the transfer because it's unimaginable that some can give such a big amount of cash to a stranger with nothing in return.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in life was when I got laid off from a government job due to drunkardness, my wife left me and I was forced to take odd jobs to survive.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening after coming from my work having got food for my family.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I feel so good and I give thanks to God because right now I have a chest problem and mostly me and my family have for a long time depended on the casual labour work I do. I am not able to engage in too much labour work currently, so the transfer will help me set up a business which will in turn help me sustain my family.
