How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I am now happy and built a better house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly has done well by giving unconditional cash transfers to the poor families. I do not see any thing bad that Give Directly has not done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfer, I bought bricks worth 800,000ugx, I bought one trip of sand at 120,000ugx, nine iron sheets at 271,000ugx, ventilators and cement costed 155,000ugx and Labour for building costed 287,000ugx.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is happiness knowing am going to have my own iron sheet roofed house.

The moment i recieved the money, i felt so happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy food stuff, and the balance, i am going to buy house construction materials.

Receiving this money means building an iron roof house which will be pride to me.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Afternoon time is usually my happiest part of the day. This is because, it is my resting time after doing garden work.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is inadquency of money to cater for my son's traditional marriage bills. I have two son's who intend to marry soon but i am unable to meet their marriage demands.
