What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second cash transfer to complete the house. I also spent part of the cash transfer to hire two pieces of farm land.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well to fulfill their promise of sending us unconditional cash transfers compared to other charity organizations. On the otherhand, I would like to encourage GiveDirectly to continue helping the poor honestly.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The cash transfers empowered me to complete the house. More so, I hired two pieces of farm land that will increase our food supply. Before receiving the cash transfers, I had an incomplete house that spent over two years. I was stressed because I did not have money to finish the structure. I am so glad that GiveDirectly launched in our village.
