How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My first, second and third money was used for one matress, paid my school fees, buy food for the family, paid for three bundles of Zinc, plant and nails to build a new house because my present house is not decent for our health. With the last transfer, I started a new business to take care of the family when GiveDirectly shall have left especially my school fees payments. It had been a very big challenge for me to handle my own money to complete my yearly school fees. But I thank God that GiveDirectly came in my community and i am in school, always happy since I received the money. Thanks to GiveDirectly for making me to go back to school and build a new house.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My plan was to support myself in school, and change the thatched roof that's over my house, but I never had money to accomplish my plan, I have been out of school for long time now, because I never had the support, but when I started receiving payment from GiveDirectly, I started school right away, I'm now in school and I am so happy. Many thanks to Givedirectly for their support
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has done very well in my life and that of our village, givedirectly has changed our entire village with so many new houses, because of givedirectly I'm back in school, I have a big mattress to sleep on, givedirectly has done so well for us, that's nothing that givedirectly hasn't done well
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I received my transfer I was able to buy my big 12 inches mattress to sleep on, and I was about to buy one phone for myself, I bought 4 begs of cement to improved my house, the balance money I was able to paid the workmanship.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The house that I live in presently has become very uncomfortable due to limited space. My family size has increased and I have decided to build a bigger house for us to move into. When I received my transfer, I purchased enough building materials and immediately started my building project. I am very pleased with this program and opportunity that GD has provided me with.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
From my own understanding, GiveDirectly has been very honest in delivering cash to poor people like us. I am very excited and blessed to be part of this unique project. GiveDirectly is doing everything so well thus far.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Due to limited space and the lack of comfort that I have been dealing with at my house, I have decided to build a bigger house for my family and I. Therefore, I bought 3 bundles of zinc for $31,500LD. The balance portion of my transfer was used to pay contractors who were working on my house. A big thanks to the entire team at GD for helping transform my life.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Since the opening of academic year 2021/2022 I haven't been able to register myself due to lack of money and support from family members so I will used whatever money transfer from Give Directly to me to firstly register myself, pay all of my required school fees and the remaining money will be used to complete my house by changing the roof from THATCH to ZINC and plaster it with Cement.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Seeing my cassava growing brings happiness to me because some of my friends and neighbors planted theirs but they're not growing instead some of the cassava have been eaten by ground hawks(which is an animal living in the Bush).
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My major challenges are paying my school fees and completing my unfinished house due to lack of money.
