What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
I have a family of three members. I lost my job last year on November and since then life has not been so easy. I have a worker who takes care of my goats and I have hard time giving him his salary of $70 per month. I have now decided to venture into agriculture. I already have 27 goats with four chickens and I plan to increase the number when I get money. I will use $670 to buy 12 goats and 30 chickens. This will boost my financial base and eradicate poverty. I will also save $400 for my son who is in grade 3 now. This will help him once he joins secondary school
What is the happiest part of your day?
On April 2023, we received rain in the community and I ventured into maize crop farming. The maize is doing well and I will harvest very soon. This has made me happy and I am almost forgetting that I lost my job.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I lost my job last year on November and since then my life has never been smooth. I have a worker who looks after my goats and I give him a salary of $70 per month. It has been a challenge now giving him such figure everything month. Source of income is the challenge I am currently facing in life.
