How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The new goal I have set before receiving this transfer is to paid my children school fees. School will soon open. I don't have cash to send them to school. Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support . I believe that with my transfer from Givedirectly, my worried about paying school fees this year are now over.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly actually did well for everyone in this Community. Through Givedirectly cash support, every one in this village have build new houses .Thanks to Givedirectly for the kind gesture. There is no system in GiveDirectly that needs improvement.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used my most recent transfer to pay school fees for three of my children . I used my balance transfer to laid my uncle to rest. He was very ill and passed out. Thanks to Givedirectly for empowering me financially. It through Givedirectly cash support that I will not encounter any difficulty in paying my children school fees this year.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
First and second money was spent for four bundles of Zinc ,nails paid part of the children school fees with part of the money and save the balance money. For the recent transfer, I have not withdrawn because of the distance and paying of transportation, I have decided to await the next transfer. This is my very first time receiving such help. I still can't get over this grace. Thank you so much for changing my condition to best.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well because since in my life, this was very straight forward process that went on in my community.I will forever remember GiveDirectly for reducing poverty in my life especially my family and community. Thanks for everything.

My life is now better than before. I have never handed such money until GiveDirectly came into my life. With the recent transfer, i plan to saved the money and await the next transfer for better used. I am grateful and always happy since I received the money because before GiveDirectly came in my community, my condition was very bad but now, I am happy.

My new plan is to buy a balance tow bundles of zinc to complete with my house. I also purchased a few pics of planks to use it for the roofing.I also pay my children tuition and bought them some school material. I did also bought a mattress and a music player for myself. I I also pay the gentleman man who has started building my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has changed my life greatly. I were living in old house that don't have no zinc only tache over it. When it rains all of my belong get wet because the house is so old to live in. But I never had the chance and the opportunity to change this house. But with the help from give directly I'm now going to be living in zinc house.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I have been working very hard to earn enough money and begin my building project. Moreover, I also needed to raise money and pay my children yearly tuition. Therefore, when I received my transfer from GiveDirectly during the early morning hours while I was still in bed, I was very delighted. I knew that with this transfer, I could begin my house project and also pay my children tuition.

I was in need of finances to build a house and also pay my children school fees. What does receiving this money mean to you?
"My family house broke down last year and we now live in a room in Augustine Sabanjay house. We started building a new but it's not completed. When I receive the transfer from GiveDirectly, I want to complete the house that I'm building, start a business to support my family and send my spouse to vocational school."
What is the happiest part of your day?
"Last week Saturday, my family didn't have any food, i did not have money that day but to my surprise, my friend give me five hundred dollars. I was so excited because I was abe to buy food for my family that day. I'm also excited that GiveDirectly workers are working in my community today. We were hopeful that our town would have selected."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"The biggest hardship face by my family is lack of dwelling place. We now live in a room in our neighbour house because our house broke down. "
