What does receiving this money mean to you?
"I will use whatever money or cash transfer that I will receive from Givedirectly to buy a Motorcycle and use it for commercial purpose. As the day goes by, I will put every penny generated from the commercialization of the motorcycle into a daily susu; by doing this; I will raise more money for my future projects. I intend doing this because I feel it will be of great help to me in generating more cash".
What is the happiest part of your day?
"Hearing about Givedirectly is the only thing I can remembered that has brought me happiness in the last 6months. Apart from, that nothing has brought me happiness in the last 6months that I can sincerely remembered".
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"The major challenge I am currently facing is maintaining the guys that worked with me on the goldmine. As you may be awared, the search for mineral or gold to be specific is not one hundred percent certain. That is, most of the time we as miner will dig and will find nothing, but the guys we worked with don't care as to whether we were successful or not. All they are interested in is their pay. Whenever we work and are unfortunate for that day, we find it difficult to pay the guys we worked with; and whenever that happens, we will find it very difficult working the next day because of the unpaid fee. Whenever this happened, none of them will turn up the next for work and will even discouraged some of their colleagues from working with us as miner. That has been a major challenged for me and continues to be ".
