What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on constructing a house. My previous house was not enough for me and my children so I decided to construct another one. I also stocked some food i.e. a sack of posho and beans.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I would have died because of hunger since I had no way out however my life is different because i managed to stock food so i always manage to have a daily meal and this is thanks to the transfers I received.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GD does well by being patient with us.

I spent my second transfer on buying building materials as i plan to build a house I also bought food for my family

The biggest difference in my daily life is that i have been able to pay school fees for my children on time

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying bricks because I want to expand on my house by adding another room. I also bought a new mattress because I was sleeping on a very old and torn mattress.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when I received my money i felt so happy that I even bought some soda for my children and some milk and sugar in celebration.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on renovating my house to make it comfortable one then the remaining balance to pay school fees for my children.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is buying a bicycle because it made fetching water very easy and it also transport my children to school.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is paying school fees for my children because I have no sustainable income to meet school needs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the evening when I am having a meal with my children.
