How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed in that, I have owned cows and plastered my house.I have also been relieved from the debt burden that I had. Before receiving this transfer, my house was dust and the floor was a breeding place for rats that used to damage my agricultural produce(maize and ground nuts).
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well to give me money that fancilitated flooring and plastering my house. GiveDirectly has not aything bad on my side.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to purchase two cows and paying off a debt.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I now live a comfortable life because I have completed renovating my permanent house and we are now staying in it.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my cash transfer, I felt happy because, what I had waited for long had come as a reality. I used to hear in our neighbouring villages when beneficiaries were celebrating and that waiting for long.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first cash transfer worth UGX 1,107,000 for buying sand, murram, aggregates, paying for labour towards renovation of my house and purchasing utensils. The balance of UGX 593,000, my spouse spent it on buying cement for renovating our house.

The happiest part of my day is morning especially when I get up and am fine ready to go for work.

The biggest hardship which I face in my life is poor a commodation due to limited grass for covering the roof.
