How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different in that, I'm living a stress free life because I can afford basic necesities like medical and food. In the past, I couldn't provide all these due to lack of money and this usually led to stress and me coveting my neighbours.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
According to me, GiveDirectly has done well to give me the transfer that has met most of my basic needs like food and medical amon others. GiveDirectly has also brought peace in many of the families in the community by giving them money that has reduced household conflicts due to lack of basic needs. On the other, am very happy with everything that GiveDirectly has done.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to complete the construction ot the permanenet house Ugx 800000; paid school fees of Ugx 500000. I also paid labour that cleared the farm land Ugx 70000 and I'm planning to spend the balance on cultivatimg food crops.
