How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I want to give thanks to God first. And I also want to give thanks to Givedirectly for their support. My plan was to build another house in my village. Because the house I'm living in right now is very small for my children and I. It's just a one room apartments. And it's embarrassing for my children, and it's has leakage all over the roof. I am a farmer and my income was very low to accomplish my plan. But I'm so thankful to GiveDirectly for making my dream come to passed. Because I'm now building a three bedroom apartment in my village.

In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion givedirectly did very well in my life and that of our village. Givedirectly was able to enrolled our entire village on the program. Givedirectly has also empowered our families with financial support. Givedirectly has changed our entire village with so many new houses. Givedirectly has so much for us. There's nothing that givedirectly hasn't done well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I received my transfer I was able to buy four (4) bundles of iron sheets. I also bought food for my family. I was able to paid the workmanship with part of the money.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was in my room when I received the alert. I was so excited about the good news from GiveDirectly. Immediately I give birth to a boychild. I am happy because since six months, my husband ran away from my life. I been struggling until GiveDirectly came into my life.Thank God that I am now satisfied with my condition. Thanks to GiveDirectly for the money.

Since I received the money from GiveDirectly, l am satisfied and free from stress. I am no more worrying about getting money to sustain my life. My life is now getting better than before.

Before GiveDirectly came to my community, from my petty business, i was able to generate some money and brought two bundles of Zinc.when I received the money from GiveDirectly, i bought additional two bundles of Zinc and bought additional goods to improved the buiness to sustain the baby and my self. What does receiving this money mean to you?
"I have planned to build my house for a very long time now. I bought some materials and kept them in the store but my brother lost my receipts so, I was unable to get those materials. Therefore, when I receive this cash transfer, I will embark on my plan to build my house again".
What is the happiest part of your day?
When I wake up and see my son going to school every morning, I get so happy. I know that there is a bright future ahead.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I live in a one room house with my family. I have many friends who sometimes asked to visit me but I can't bring them to visit me because of the place I live. Therefore, I can say that my current challenge is a better place to live".
