What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third cash transfer on paying school fees 18,000 KES and bought a second hand motorcycle with the remaining 30,000 KES.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
My new goal is to venture into farming to enable me earn some income.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different because I have built a new house and paid school fees with the cash transfer from Givedirectly . Without this cash transfer, my child would not have sat for the end year examination.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought 20 iron sheet which took me 13,000KES,I paid10,000 KES school fee for my two high school children, i bought two windows and a door at 12,000KES. I also bought timber worth 12,000KES and the remaining 3000KES i bought food for my children.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I am happy i have paid school fees for my children and i have a nice house too. At-least i have a step in life.

When I received my token payment, I cleared 8000 KES school fees balances for my 2 children then I spent the remaining 2000 KES on their school uniforms.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
I will extend my main house, plow my farms and clear school fees balances for my children. That is how I am planning to spend my upcoming lumpsum payment.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I'm planning to spend my transfer on the following ways; Paying school fees for my two children in secondary school, one is in form two and the other in form one,I also intend to renovate my current house which is a bit smaller and have it increased to fit my family comfortably.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I'm proudest of is having been able to build my current house which is iron roofed,I used to live in a thatched house which would leak most of the times when it rained.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I'm facing currently is on paying school fees for my two children in secondary school,I have no proper source of income and does this single handedly since my husband is deceased and did not leave any other property that would help in financing the needs we have.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is normally in the morning when I visit my farm to cultivate with the hopes of getting good harvest,this is my main source of livelihood hence I give it first priority in my day.
