Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I received the transfer whole heartedly, but the moment i received the transfer message i had a priceless feeling i didn't know how to express my happiness because receiving that amount of money without necessary working for it its not a joke.

The biggest difference will be owning a proper house tht will be in a good condition, i will also have food that will take me through out the year.

I received the transfer and I'm super grateful for the work that GiveDirectly is doing,as soon as i got my transfer i thought of maintaining my house because it has been in a bad condition so i used part of the transfer to buy materials like cement,bricks, Timba and frames.Apparently I'm maintaining my old house so as I'm talking to you people are busy working on it apart from maintaining my house i also used part of the transfer to buy 5 bags of maize that will take me throughout the year,in addition i have saved some money to pay for labour expenses but I'm so excited for getting enrolled in the programme.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
This money money means renovation to our household.We have been combining our house with the groceries shop for so long but now with the transfers we will be able to develop the house properly and have a proper shop.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am usually happy during the morning because I am able to find a little food to eat
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
It has been hard to earn money from our grocery's shop which our main source of income as most people haven't been able to earn as they usually do
