What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first cash transfer o purchase cement worth UGX 320000 and bricks worth UGX 360000 and I paid the builder UGX 550000. I purchased iron bars worth UGX 370000. The balance of UGX 100000 will be spent on purchasing other materials like timber.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I received a mobile message at night but I did not read it. When I read the message, I could not believe it not until when I confirmed with my mobile account number. I felt very happy because the cash transfer was going to rebuild my life.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference so far is that I am constructing a four roomed house. This would not have been possible if I had not received the cash transfer.

The biggest hardship I face is lack of enough money for building ironroofed house and providing basic needs to my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of the day is evening hours. I spend this time watching my children playing.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I shall use it for building ironroofed house. This house shall provide better shelter for my family.
