What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent 200000ugx on iron sheets, 300000ugx on bricks, 130000ugx on cement, 200000ugx on school fees and scholastic materials, 200000ugx on medical, and the rest of the money on food.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion givedirectly has helped us to build our own houses; buy land; rent some agricultural land and even help some of us to pay dowery for our children. There is nothing givedirectly has not done well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am now in position to treat myself; send children to school and sleep well; this all was a dream in the past that I couldn't believe would come true one day.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my transfer on purchasing a bed worth 120,000 UGX and a mattress at 100,000 UGX and a pair of bedsheets, then I also spent 600,000 UGX to settle my mortgage , and the rest I spent it on buying food for my family.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I jumped and called out my family members who joined me and we voiced out our ululations in thanks to Givedirectly for the cash transfer.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Our daily lives are now near to being perfect. We eat and change in nice clothes and we are happier than before. I am very grateful to Give Directly for the cash transfer.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship iface is chest pain .This is making me unable to do garden work for long and hence low productivity from farming now am realising poverty in my family .
What is the happiest part of your day?
Evening time is my happiest part of the day since i always relax charting with my children and this makes me forget of adays probrems.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
One's I receive this money the priority will be to buy aplot of land ,where I shall cultivate and get more crop yields to be consumed by the my family as well as selling some to get money to pay school fees for my children in Aligoi secondary school
